Welcome to The Redding Contractor ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website located at https://thereddingcontractor.com/ (the "Site") and our estimate connection services.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Site.

Important: The Redding Contractor acts as a referral service/lead generation platform. We are not a construction company, general contractor, or builder.

Our service allows users to submit information regarding construction projects ("Requests") to receive estimates. We forward these Requests to third-party independent contractors and professionals in our network ("Service Professionals").

We do not perform the construction work, nor do we employ the Service Professionals. Any contract for construction services is solely between you and the Service Professional.

2. No Guarantees or Endorsements

While we make efforts to vet the Service Professionals in our network:

  • We do not guarantee that your Request will result in a quote or that a Service Professional will be available.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the work performed by Service Professionals.
  • We do not endorse any specific Service Professional. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence (checking licenses, insurance, and references) before hiring any contractor.

3. Release of Liability

YOU AGREE TO RELEASE US FROM ANY DAMAGES OR CLAIMS arising out of or in any way connected with your disputes with any Service Professional.

We are not liable for:

  • Any property damage, bodily injury, or death resulting from the work of a Service Professional.
  • Any pricing disputes, delays, or unfinished work.
  • Any failure of a Service Professional to maintain proper licensing or insurance.

4. User Responsibilities

By using our Site, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • All information you submit in the "Get Estimate" form is accurate, current, and complete.
  • You are the owner of the property or have the authority to authorize work on the property described in your Request.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, functionality, design, and logos are owned by The Redding Contractor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by The Redding Contractor. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
